Remaining Safe at Your house

I have spent a lot of time speaking with a lot of home owners about their home security. I am attempting to gain some insight on different ways that our homes become at risk. One of the things I asked them was if they had ever experienced suspicious activity at their home. A robbery, broken windows, a suspicious person – anything really. I was surprised that almost everybody had a story. Many of the experiences eventually led them to buy a burglar alarm. I have learned that Delray Beach Home Security is one of the more reliable choices.

One gentleman told me that he had been home for the afternoon one day, but left to go pick his little boy up from soccer practice. When they got back home about 20 minutes later, one of the windows on their house was broken and several things were missing inside. He suspected that he was being watched, and the thief knew once he left the house. A different mother of 3 said that she answered the door to a person who claimed to be a salesman. After the guy pitched his sale, he asked if he could come inside to speak more about it. She said no thanks, and he again replied by asking if he could still come inside and use her telephone. Because the guy was being so persistent, she declined again and shut the door in his face.

We have all had encounters with suspicious people and situations. Some are worse than others, like the first man’s experience. The information I am getting helps me figure out what moves people to get a security system. The second woman said she quickly decided to get one the next day.

I have learned about tons of identical stories from other people. People never really know what might happen on a given day. I am sure these two people did not wake up assuming something unusual would happen that day. It really stresses the value in always being prepared.
